WDS 1U4PGE GEPON OLT – 1U rackmount, 4 PON ports, Gigabit Ethernet, WEB + CLI + SNMP management

Pasivní optická síť (PON, Passive Optical Network) se skládá ze zakončení optického vedení (Optical Line Termination, OLT) na centrální straně sítě, na něľ se připojují rozvětvenou strukturou optické rozbočovače - splittery. K nim se připojují koncové optické sí»ové jednotky (Optical Network Unit, ONU) nejčastěji do stromové, případně kruhové nebo hvězdicové topologie. Vzdálenost mezi OLT a ONU můľe být aľ 20km.
GEPON (Gigabit Ethernet PON) je v dnešní době nejrozšířenější a nejvyvinutější technologií pro pasivní optické sítě. Mezi její přednosti patří snadná správa, cenová efektivita a snadná údržba. Je dobrou volbou pro aplikace FTTH. Podporuje různé implementace FTTx (např. FTTH, FTTC, FTTN, FTTB a FTTP). Flexibilní šířka pásma s rychlostí od 39/39 Mbps do 1.25/1.25 Gbps podle požadavků předplatitele. Niáší celkové investiční náklady, nižší provozní náklady (s využitím ověřeného centralizovaného síťového management EMS – Element management system nebo CLI dávkového managementu s podporou šablon pro ONU)

EPON OLT jednotky WDS1U4PGE jsou osazeny značkovým čipsetem Cortina CS8032, jejich výkon a signálová úrověň je tedy na velice vysoké úrovni a zajistí pro vaąi sít ąiroké pokrytí stabilním signálem. Tepelná odolnost byla také otestována při dlouhodobém testu při teplotě přes 40C. Velkou výhodou je také DUAL POWER napájení, tedy jednotky mají dva redundantní zdroje !

Wodaplug Pizza-Box OLT serie má standardní velikost 1U pro 19"  "rack mount". Výhodou této OLT jsou malá velikost, jednoduchost instalace a managementu, flexiblita a výkonnost.

Optická sí» se chová transparentně jako chytrý switch, je moľné konfigurovat VLANy pro jednotlivé porty koncových ONU. Konfigurace ONU je jednoduchá díky ąablonám (4 a 8 portové OLT jednotky nabízí template management !!) , nově připojená ONU si tedy stáhne konfiguraci dle přednastavené ąablony(provisioning). Konfigurace OLT jednotky je moľná přes WEB management, či přes dodávaný EMS konfigurační software – centrální management (zaloľený na SNMP a potřebuje mySQL a daląí instalaci SW na PC) a nebo pomocí telnet a CLI (standardní command line interface). Standardem je také podpora protokolu SNMP (mibs).

Wodaplug WDS1U4PGE provides 4GE and 4 SFP slots interface for uplink, and 4 EPON ports for downstream. It can support 256 ONU under 1:64 splitter ratio. Passive Optical Network (PON, Passive Optical Network) consists of an optical line termination (Optical Line Termination, OLT) at the central side of the network to which is attached a branched structure of optical splitters – splitters. These are connected end optical network unit (Optical Network Unit, ONU), most often in a tree, or ring or star topologies. The distance between the OLT and ONU can be up to 20 km.

EPON OLT units WDS1U4PGE are equiped by well known brand chipset Cortina CS8032, therefor wodaplug power and signal level is very high and provide for your future network fast stable conection. Heat rezistance was tested in long time period in real setups and its very good even in temperatures over 40C. Wodaplug OLT units are equiped with redudant dual powersources, which is very important for reliable non breaking usage!!

Optical netwok behave transparently as smart switch, VLAN can be configured for each port of end ONU units. Configuration of ONU is easy thanks to preconfigured templates (4 and 8 ports OLT units has template management in base version!!) Newly connected ONU unit automaticly downloads configuration from previosely set template (provisioning). Configuration OLT unit is possible via WEB management or thru supplied EMS configuration software – central management ) based on SNMP (needs mySQL and reqiure additional SW instalation on master managing PC), or by telnet and CLI (standard command line interface). Wodaplug units supports SNMP (mibs) protocol.
